We have been building websites by hand since 2018, from a studio in Split, Croatia. No bought templates and no generic AI copy. Every site starts on an empty canvas and ends as something that loads fast and is easy to change.
There are two routes. WordPress with a custom theme when you want to edit the content yourself. Custom (Next.js) when you need speed, integrations or features no plugin covers. Around 60 sites have gone both ways.
What we build
Brochure sites for small businesses, restaurants, rentals and studios. WordPress with a custom theme, no page builder and no stack of 47 plugins. You get an admin you understand and a site that survives the next update.
When you need more than that, we go custom: Next.js, React, a headless CMS such as Sanity or Payload. Booking flows, B2B platforms, brands that live on detail. If you are wondering whether you need custom, you probably do not, and we will tell you so.
Why our sites are fast
Speed is not an afterthought. Static rendering wherever it makes sense, images in modern formats, no render-blocking scripts. We aim for Core Web Vitals under two seconds, the number Google looks at and visitors feel.
This site is the proof of concept: no heavy builders, no bloat. The same approach goes into every project, from a five-page brochure site to a platform.
What a website costs
A WordPress brochure site starts at €1,200 and takes three to five weeks. A custom site starts at €4,000 and takes six to twelve weeks, depending on scope.
The price is fixed once we have done the free audit and agreed the scope. We do not bill by the hour and there is no surprise invoice at the end. You pay 50% up front and 50% before launch, and 12 months of support is included. The numbers sit next to the rest on the programs page.
How we work
Four steps and no surprises: audit, plan, build, handover. You send a link or an idea, you get an honest report within 48 hours, and then we agree the scope and a fixed price before the first line of code.
Through the build you have a staging link and two rounds of design revisions before the code starts. At launch we hand you the keys and teach you to maintain the site yourself.
Who we have built for
The last eight sites we shipped run on this stack: boat4you, Catamaran Charter Croatia, Greece and Italy, Croatia Yachting and Europe Yachts, plus a dental practice in Split. We are a registered company, Cusmanich d.o.o., not a freelancer who disappears a week after launch.
Most of our clients are outside Croatia: Italy, Greece, Germany, the Caribbean. We work remote-first from an EU timezone, in English, with a solid overlap with US mornings. More of the same questions are answered on the FAQ.

How much does a website cost?

If you want to edit the content yourself and need a classic brochure site, WordPress. If you need speed, integrations or features like booking, Next.js. We will tell you honestly which one fits.
Can I edit the content myself later?
Yes. WordPress or Sanity, both are straightforward. We teach you in a one-hour call and after that you edit on your own.
How long does a website take?
WordPress three to five weeks, custom six to twelve weeks, depending on scope and how quickly content and feedback arrive.
Do you work with clients outside Croatia?
Most of our clients are abroad. We run projects in English over video calls and invoice from inside the EU. We travel on site only when it is worth the trip.
What happens after launch?
Twelve months of support is included, so fixes and small changes are covered. After that you can run the site yourself or move to a monthly plan.
